You will receive comprehensive support and training by undertaking the new Care Certificate which is based around CQC’s Fundamental Standards. This will enable you to deliver the best possible care to our clients, who are at the centre of everything that we do.
The new Care Certificate replaces the Common Inductions and is an identified set of standards that health and social care workers adhere to in their daily working life.
Designed with the non-regulated workforce in mind, the Care Certificate gives everyone the confidence that workers have the same introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high quality care and support.
This ethos will help you to make a positive difference in people’s lives; and will provide you with the foundation from which you could launch a highly successful career in healthcare.
On-going training is vital to help ensure the best possible care and outcomes for our clients. In addition to this, staff receive client specific training that accounts for the individual needs of each client. This training includes catheter care, epilepsy management, tracheostomy care, stoma care and gastrostomy feeding. All clinical training is provided by our Clinical Lead and competencies are completed to ensure that support workers have been signed off as safe to carry out these procedures.
